"It seems like its been ages since we left the Sandbars even though it was just a few weeks ago. The minute I pulled into the parking lot and saw how neat and clean the building was and the warm touch of live plants on the deck, I knew I had come to the right place for our vacation. I just want to thank you and your staff for the care they gave us while we were there. Everyone on staff is very conscientious on making our stay a pleasant one. As I mentioned to you, I have stayed at other motels along the 6A route and yours is by far the best place and we've been staying in North Truro since the early '90s and the Cape in general since 1985! How we missed your Inn before is just beyond me! The rooms were absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated, the kitchenette was fully equipped and immaculate, the beds were the most comfortable I have honestly ever slept in on the Cape and your beach was very clean and comfortable. The chaise lounges, Adirondack chairs and tables with umbrellas were a really nice addition. You even provided Beach towels! Amazing! And not that we came up to the Cape to watch TV but having the flat screen TV AND a DVD player was wonderful on those really hot days! As a person who has trouble walking, I really appreciated the boardwalk down to the water rather than having to negotiate the hot sand. Your location on Rte 6A is very close to Provincetown and the shuttle bus into town saves people the horrible task of finding a place to park and paying ridiculously high parking fees. Thank you so much for an enjoyable place and I'm happy to say we have found our vacation home away from home. Oh, and by the way, what place sends US a thank you note for visiting them? None I have ever stayed in on the Cape. Nice touch!!! I keep your note on my desk at work so I have a happy memory of our 2010 vacation. We can't wait to come back."

"My husband and I would like to make sure you know how much we enjoyed our stay this weekend (10/16-20) with our friend at your hotel. We left early to be able to get through the NYC traffic. Our friends had never been to the Cape before while between Rich (48 years of visits) and myself (the newbie at 26 years of visits) have never stayed past Chatham – usually just day visits to Provincetown. With your place as an example, we both could see why people come up and stay for a while. All of us enjoyed and a large portion of the credit goes to you and your hospitality. Even though the weather was a bit uncooperative - the Cape is beautiful in any weather anyway. Both of us hope to be able to come up and stay again! Take care and have a great off-season – which is our favorite time to visit."

“We left your place early this morning and hopefully you found our key in the key mailbox by the door. Mistakenly we took your playing cards home. We are sorry. We did, however, want to tell you how much we LOVED our stay with you. The Sandbars is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are so cozy and immaculate. Your staff is fabulous and the view is amazing. We will definitely be back again. And yes, Room 15 is the Best!!! Again, thank you so much for your hospitality, you run an amazing operation at the Sandbars.”

"We left early this morning and didn't get a chance to tell you how terrific the accommodations are at your place. You thought of everything for the traveler "away from home". We hope to see you again and will certainly recommend the Sandbars to our friends. The corner room - #15 - made our stay great. Thanks."

A letter from one of our clients, about a recent Sandbars vacation:
Dear Pattee and Brian,
Thanks again for providing such a wonderful accommodation during our stay in North Truro. Room #15 is, in our opinion, the best room on the Cape. We really hated to leave. We had a beautiful day for our trip to Martha's Vineyard on Friday, and we parked for free at Staples, thanks to your tip. We also had a great dinner at the Casino Wharf restaurant in Falmouth, again thanks to your recommendation. It was a lively place, to say the least!
This evening shot of Provincetown was taken from our balcony...good advertising for your next brochure!
Cheers,
John and Pamela Frederick
